2017 Golden Globes: Viola Davis, Meryl Streep, La La Land! Full List of Winners


Viola Davis accepts the award for Best Supporting Actress – Motion Picture for her role in “Fences”

The 2017 Golden Globes was brimming with excitement, including powerful speeches from stars like Meryl Streep, Viola Davis, and Ryan Gosling, scathing political references, and just enough technical malfunction to keep things very interesting.

As predicted, Woody Allen’s La La Land won big. Ryan Gosling prevailed over Ryan Reynolds for Best Actor in a Motion Picture or Comedy. Emma Stone prevailed over all the other mega-talented actresses with which she was competing for Best Actress in the same category. Yes, it was a good night for La La.
