This year’s Miss Nigeria final competition held last night- the 18th 0f November 2011 saw 21 year Feyijimi Sodipo representing Ogun State clinching the crown as Queen Ambassador. Miss Benue AdamaOnyantawas the 1st runner up while Miss Edo Nowekere Alexis Isibor 2nd runner up.
A very entertaining evening with a solo performance by TufaceIdibia, the contestants were judged by fivedistinguished personalities in the people of Prof. Ebun Clark, Mrs Wunmi, Tony Akiotu, Catherine Ifejika, Derin Osoba and Dr Bello Osagie.
The finalists paraded traditional Nigerian indigenous attires as well as designs from Vlisco Dutch wax print.
Other finalist decorated were Miss Delta Bolajo-Fawehinmias Miss Congeniality, Miss Anambra Joy Okoye as Miss Photogenic, Miss Akwa IbomUtibe Ibom as Miss African Hostess and the best traditional attire of the competition was also given to Miss Benue Adama Onyanta.
Feyijimi Sodipo will be the Queen Ambassador and during her reign will implement several projects in collaboration with the Federal and State governments, and also private organisations.
Sodipo, in her acceptance speech, thanked the organisers of the event, Chief Nike Osinowo-Soleye, sponsors, her family and finally, God.
