There is no argument about how legendary Nigerian Afro-pop singer, Innocent Idibia popularly known as 2baba is, as long as the Nigerian music sphere is concerned. Having dropped his first hit titled “Knock me off” as far back as 1999, as a member of the now-defunct group Plantashun Boiz, the prolific singer has continuously showcased his greatness since then till this very date.
To celebrate 20 years of an illustrious, fulfilling and productive career is a series of activities, projects and events for the year including a book, a documentary, an album, merchandises, fete, fundraiser, concert and parties all in stock for the celebration.
Kick-starting the celebration of the king is a short documentary narrated by Nollywood Veteran actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD) called “20 years A King”, a reflection on how 2baba championed a Nigerian music revolution now known as “Afrobeats”
