The internet was left aghast after it was announced that On-Air Personality, Tosyn Bucknor had died. TBuck, as she was fondly called, was found lifeless by husband, Aurelien Boyer, when he arrived home from work on Monday, 19 November 2018.
Now, the family of late popular has announced the funeral arrangements for the University of Lagos graduate. According to the arrangement, she will be laid to rest on Thursday 29th November 2018 shortly after her funeral service which will be held at the Harvesters International Christian Center.
A special service of songs and tribute night also be held in her honour on Wednesday 28th November, 2018 at Harbour Point, Victoria Island.
The media personality, a graduate of law from the University of Lagos, was born with sickle cell anemia. In November 2015, Bucknor and Aurélien Boyer had their traditional wedding surrounded by family and friends in Lagos.
Five months later, they had their white wedding in France, Boyer’s home country. Segun Bucknor, her father who was a popular musician and journalist, died in 2017. Tosyn, as she was popularly called, started her OAP duties with Tee-A at Eko FM. She was also an intern at Cool FM where she hosted the ‘Fun Hour Show’ on Saturdays.
Bucknor joined Top Radio after her youth service in 2009 as the only female handling a morning show. Tosyn Bucknor was nominated for several awards including Future Awards, ELOY Awards, and Best of Nollywood. Until her death, the OAP who also doubled as a vlogger was a staff of Inspiration FM where she hosted her own morning talk show.
