A-Z Trend Report Part V

 ZEDEYE FROM UK

Design talent Ngozi Pere-Okorotie behind Zedeye showed the same collection she did at the Autumn/Winter 2011 London Fashion Week. The collection was made up of pieces of skirts, jumpsuits and coats with faux fur details at the bottoms and edges of the sleeves.

This was certainly an edgy, chic and modern collection.

AUTUMN ADIEGBO FROM US

The collection consisted of leopard prints in figure-hugging dresses with wide shoulder pads and body suits. We also saw jumpsuits, capes and dresses in bright colours.

RE BAHIA FROM UK

The collection featured figure-hugging pieces that showed the curves of the woman.

BESTOW ELAN FROM GHANA

The collection consisted of 16 pieces and the look for make-up was dramatic dark eyes coupled with elaborate hairstyles. Adding to the fierceness were the clothes with shoulder pads, cinched waists and a figure-hugging jumpsuits. The dresses and skirts were mostly knee-length with some in green and yellow prints.

CHICHIA FROM TANZANIA

Cocktail dresses with print sheer and print inserts were beautifully constructed and pretty, but all the dresses were short, the collection is definitely for a much younger woman with the body and legs to carry all the pieces.

GREY FROM NIGERIA

For Grey the clothes the theme was colour blocking in orange, pink, lemon green. The collections consisted of jackets, pencil skirt, shorts and short dresses, long dresses and cropped pants. The fabrics were silk and chiffon. My best part of the collection was the styling and the bright shoes.

KASTLE DESIGNS AND TREASURE CHEST FROM GHANA

There was burst of colours from the twin sisters behind the label. We saw bitsof individualism in the pieces as they were edgy and glamorous- sequins, prints, sheer.
