This is something for all the art lovers out there!
Ruinart, world’s oldest champagne has collaborated with photographer and conceptual artist, Ade Adekola to host “Pret a Installer” – a collection of fine art photography from the 11th till 13th July 2014 at a private residence in Victoria Island, Lagos.
The three-day exhibition will open with a VIP Preview hosted by Nigeria’s former Ambassador to the United Nations, Chief Arthur Mbanefo.
“Pret a Installer” reveals how Ade Adekola captures images with a particular emphasis on looking beyond what the normal eye would register, the artworks often pose philosophical questions about identity, geography and culture. He uses perceptions as interplay, to trigger associative memories, to tease the mind and invite viewers to engage, as a means of reflecting on their own lives and that of the society in which they live.
“Pret a Installer” will be open to interested members of the public from Saturday, 12th July – Sunday 13th July 2014.
