Spanish side, Atletico Madrid have signed Tottenham and English International, Kieran Trippier for £21.7m. The wing back was said to have also passed a medical with the Spanish club on Wednesday and equally started training.
According to Skysports, Spurs were offered the chance to sign striker Angel Correa during negotiations but have instead opted for a straight cash deal.
Trippier leaves Tottenham after making 114 appearances for the club over a four-season spell.
The 28-year-old becomes the eighth new arrival at Atletico this summer, joining high-profile signings Joao Felix, Marcos Llorente and Felipe at the Wanda Metropolitano and also amking him the first Eglishman signing for the club in 95 years.
