Big Brother Naija Star, Nengi Hampson, has been appointed as the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Girl Child to Governor Duoye Diri of Bayelsa State.

This was announced during her visit to the state governor in his office on Friday morning. Nengi was also announced as the Face of the southernmost state.

Her fellow ex-constant from the BBNaija reality TV show, Neo, who accompanied her visit to the Governor’s quarters, shared the good news on Twitter.

“Omo my girl oo.. Senior Special Assistant to the Governor and Face of Bayelsa State. Congrats my sister @nengiofficial,” he wrote. According to Qed.ng, Daniel Alabrah, Governor Diri’s spokesman also confirmed the appointment via a text message.

Nengi who was the second runner-up of BBNaija season 5 has since been bombarded with congratulatory messages from colleagues and fans on social media.
