After months of speculation, crossed fingers and utter obsession over whether the Oscar winning-actress would land a spot on the coveted glossy, the moment has arrived.
Vogue capture the 31-year-old star for it’s July 2014 issue in the enchanting city of Marrakech. Nyong’o looks stunning for the cover, which was shot by Mikael Jansson, in a printed Prada dress that perfectly reflects her colorful style. In fact, Nyong’o’s entire editorial spread is just as bold and beautiful as she is. She is seen posing in pieces from Rodarte, Vera Wang, Proenza Schouler, Givenchy,Jonathan Saunders and more. In this issue, the Kenyan actress talks about winning an Oscar, obtaining rights to Chimamanda Adichie’s “Americanah” novel and more.
