#ThrowbackThursday – The Spectacular Naomi Campbell Robot Series

Naomi Campbell isn’t called a “Supermodel” for no reason. She has consistently redeemed herself as a top model with countless magazine covers, portraits and more.

Since it is #ThrowbackThursday on social media today, we have decided to draw the minds of fashion enthusiasts back to a few years ago when Naomi Campbell was on the French glossy magazine SOON international where the former supermodel appears to be bald and rather “I, ROBOT-ish” looking by the renowned photographer Seb Janiak and by make-up artists Charlotte Willer, Florence Depestele and Jérémy Caravit.

There was a similar portrait nearly two decades ago in 1997 when Naomi Campbell was at her peak and released a few portraits that were simply mind blowing for that era. She worked with Seb Janiak then also in a series that has a similar idea back in where Naomi looked more like a real robot.

I think it is very creative that something like this was done almost 20 years ago and it is amazing to think of how far the fashion industry has come in terms of creativity.
What do you think of the pictures? Is it possible that the Nigerian fashion industry would reach these heights?
