Following Cardi B‘s recent win in which her hit single “Bodak Yellow” broke records for marking only the second time a female rapper with no featured artists claimed the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100, she’s making headlines again.
Billboard reports Cardi B’s jam topped the charts for a third week, making her the only solo female rapper ever to hold the the spot for the length of time.
Previously, Lauryn Hill’s “Doo Wop (That Thing)” made history for achieving that same honor for two weeks total back in 1998.
Cardi B, however, took to social media to indicate that success is not all it’s cracked up to be. She tweeted, “These streets really don’t love you,” “fame ain’t what it seems,” and “I feel so down & I wish my man wasn’t so far to hug me up.”
