In its fourth year in Nigeria, Elite Model Look has discovered some of Nigeria’s most natural and talented models- Tracy Onyekachukwu (2008), Annette Begg (2009), Chika Emmanuella (2010) all of which have regularly graced catwalks, magazine editorials and advertising campaigns both within and outside the African continent.
This year saw 17 years old Chine Ejere emerge as winner after rigorous assessments by the judges. Chinwe will he now join other winners from different parts of the world to compete for the World Elite Model Look scheduled to take place later this year in Shanghai, china.
This year's show featured the 14 finalists strutting their stuff in exotic swimwear line by Melissa Odabash and gorgeously styled with jewellery from Anita Quansah London. They also modelled pieces from Nigerian fashion designers Eki Orleans, Republic of Foreigner, Virgos Lounge and Bridget Awosika.
The event which started an hour and a half late due to guests turning out in the true ‘Nigerian time’ fashion was held at Civic Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos. Hosted by the beautiful Studio 53’s Eku Edewor, highlights of the evening included performances from Neeto C, Tiwa Savage and entertainment newcomers Davido.
A job well done to Elohor Asien of Beth Model management- the representative of Elite Modelling Agency and organiser of yearly Elite Nigeria Model Look Competition for an interesting show who we must add wowed in a beautiful black tulle dress.
