It was obviously a joyous moment for Amanda Wamunyima, from Orlando, Florida when she was crowned Ms. America 2016 at recently beating a dynamic array of contestants from across the nation.
This year’s pageant consisted of four uniquecategories of competition including: Evening Gown, Interview, Sportswear and Finalist On-Stage Question.
Amanda Wamunyima’svictory walk to accept the crown marks her journey into stardom making her an ambassador of young single, divorced or married women with a dedicated platform or cause they can advocate for.

Not only is she a model, actress, entrepreneur, CNN iReporter and TV host, Amanda Wamunyima, is alsoa humanitarian and Founder of ieEmbracean organization that assists to provide medical and school supplies to underserved nations.
She teamed up with the American Red Cross touring all 67 Florida Counties and is looking forward to doing the same across the United States raising awareness and honoring the thousands of people who volunteer for this life changing organization.
