The Nigerian Medical Association, NMA, has said it was still opposed to the arrival of the Chinese medical experts in the country to help combat novel coronavirus.
According to Vanguard News, this was after the organisation called on the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria, MDCN, and other health regulatory bodies in the country to subject the foreign medical practitioners to thorough screening.
The NMA, in a statement signed by its president, Dr Francis Faduyile and Secretary-General, Dr Olumuyiwa Odusote and released via Twitter on Thursday night, respectively also called on the federal government to publish the names, designations, and qualifications of the medical experts.
See the statement below.
Now that the Chinese ‘Medical Experts’ are here, the truth is beginning to manifest.
We advise our members to be on the alert for further directives as events unfold.
