After a relationship that seems to be going up and down the slope was solidified again in recent weeks, D’Banj has been reported to have signed on Zanger crooner – Durella to his DB Records.
D’Banj and Durella had a fall out in 2006 when Durella publicly claimed the DB Records boss jacked his style way before he became popular. While D’Banj did not react to the story at the time, his Entertainer album saw him switching to a more relaxed Pop style which he has maintained till present day.
After their reunion which was made public by Durella featuring on one of the tracks on the DKM mixtape “Ibadi E,” It has been reported with a source in the camp of Durella confirming it that D’Banj has signed on the sound-alike artiste Durella to DB Records.
It can also be recalled that D’Banj might have failed to seal the deal with Olamide and Davido after rumour filled the social media that he had signed both artistes at different times.
In similar news, in what seems to be long overdue, Naeto C has finally left Storm records.
Rapper Naetochukwu Chikwe better known as Naeto C plans to fully launch his WKG/Cerious Music label in a matter of months.
Unlike the many breakups that have preceded Naeto’s, the rapper’s exit is not battlemented; both parties have been very silent about the issue. As a matter of fact, Storm Records insist that the rapper is still signed with them.
Naeto C’s profile is still active on the Storm Records official website but so is General Pype’s, an artiste who left the Record label long ago.
