Nigerian star singer, Oladapo Oyebanjo aka D’banj, took to social media to share some words of comfort amid the Coronavirus scare and in the process reveal how sleeping in his room for the first time in 21 months wasn’t as easy for him as he expected.
He disclosed this in a statement post that appeared to be a reflection about life and family generally. According to the him, “For the first time in 21 months I slept in my own room.
I thought it would be easier but the memories are so fresh and although my family and I have been through so much in this time, I woke up with a grateful heart knowing I can be a source of visible hope to anyone going through a hard time due to this pandemic or any personal issue. Just know that tomorrow will be better and you can turn your pain into motivation. Stay strong.”
Recall that the DB Records boss lost his first son, Daniel Oyebanjo III, to a drowning accident in his Lagos home on June 25, 2018 which sent the internet in a whole frenzy. However, the couple welcomed another son on September 19, 2019.
