In continuation of its investigation into the controversial disbursement of $2bn arms procurement funds by the ex-National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd.), men from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Wednesday, 2nd December, combed the house of the former Chairman, DAAR Communications Plc, Chief Raymond Dokpesi in search of clues that might aid the probe.
On Thursday, it was gathered that Dokpesi was escorted to his residence where operatives searched the house for evidence that may assist them in their investigation into the arms deal.
It remains unclear however as to exactly what the operatives of the anti-graft agency were looking for and whether they succeeded in taking away any document from the residence of the media mogul.
He was reportedly escorted back to the EFCC headquarters for further interrogation.
