The frequent rate of domestic violence and unusual occurrences across the nation is fast turning Nigeria into an even more dangerous place to live in.
As a result of this, the knowledge and desire to do something about the violence is spreading daily, and the Nigerian celebrities are not left out.
Top Nigerian celebrities have joined hands with LWTZE Concept, an initiative started by Soundcity’s On-Air-Personality, Olayinka Adamu, to stage a huge and monumental, yet unusual walk against domestic violence.
The walk is set to kick off on Saturday, 13 October, 2012, from Adetokunbo Ademola Street, Victoria Island.
From there most of Nigeria’s biggest celebrities, activists, advocates, and concerned citizens would step out to strategically address the re-occurring issue of domestic violence and the alarming rate of abuse in the Nigerian society.
