Shocking: Chris Kelly Of Kriss Kross Dies At 34
34-year-old Chris Kelly, one-half of the 1990s rap duo Kris Kross, died Wednesday at an Atlanta hospital after he was found unconscious at his home.

The cause of his death is still unknown but the Fulton County Medical Examiner&#39s Office said an autopsy is planned for today, Thursday.

Kelly, and Chris Smith, were 13-year-olds when they were discovered in 1991 at an Atlanta mall by producer Jermaine Dupri.

They shot to stardom in 1992 with “Jump,” which spent eight weeks on top of the Billboard Hot 100.

The duo opened for Michael Jackson that year on his Dangerous World Tour.

The duo was known for wearing their pants backward and the style was widely emulated in the period when their music ruled the airwaves.

The pair reunited for one night in February for a 20th anniversary party for Dupri&#39s So So Def label.

Rapper Da Brat, who also performed that night, wrote about Kelly&#39s death, “REST IN PEACE TO MY LIL BRO CHRIS KELLY OF KRIS KROSS. Dam wasn&#39t we JUST at rehearsal and doin a So So Def20 show?”
Rest in Peace Chris Kelly.

Tosan Jemide Presents His &#39Tallest Cake in Africa&#39 Project
After showcasing his skills in several cake and sugar craft exhibitions around the world, the multiple award winning Cake Maestro, Tosan Jemide, will take on his most challenging project yet.

He has concluded plans to build and exhibit the Tallest Cake in Africa.

CBT has earned the reputation as being the number one cake brand in Nigeria, creating designs that are exclusively qualitative and aesthetically appealing. It is only natural that continental feats should follow.

The tallest cake in Africa comes on the heels of the country’s centenary celebration. The project would no doubt project Africa&#39s sugar craft industry to the spotlight, and particularly cast Nigeria in good light. It will also serve as a promotional platform for the sugar craft industry as a bonafide art form with incredible untapped potentials, especially in this part of the world.

The giant cake will be unveiled on Thursday May 16, 2013 at the Silverbird Galleria, Victoria Island Lagos, in an event that will be attended by government functionaries, captains of industry, cake enthusiasts, school pupils, friends and fans of Tosan as well as members of the media.

Plans are currently ongoing to capture this feat on Guinness Book of World Records.  The proposed height for the cake is about 28 feet; currently, the tallest cake in the world as captured by the Guinness Book of Records is estimated at about 26 feet.
