Veteran Nollywood actor and father of Dr Sid (Nigerian Music Star), Justice Esiri has passed on.

The just concluded autopsy at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital has revealed that late Big Brother Africa ex-housemate and Nigerian artiste Oluwabimpe Susan Harvey aka “Goldie” died of terminal ‘hypertensive heart disease.’

Veteran Actor Justice Esiri Passes On
Veteran Nollywood actor and father of Dr Sid (Nigerian Music Star), Justice Esiri has passed on.

The Member of the Order of the Niger (MON), famous for his role in popular 80?s sitcom Village Headmaster where he played the lead role as the village headmaster passed on Tuesday night.

Justus Esiri featured in several Nollywood movies including The Prize, Six Demons, Wasted Years, Forever, The investigation, Corridors of Power, Last Knight, The Tyrant and he is reputed to have featured in more “TV Network drama programmes than any Nigerian actor.”  

He is survived by his wife Omiete and children including the music star Dr Sid (Sidney Esiri).

Autopsy Reveals Goldie Died Of Hypertension
The just concluded autopsy at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital has revealed that late Big Brother Africa ex-housemate and Nigerian artiste Oluwabimpe Susan Harvey aka “Goldie” died of terminal ‘hypertensive heart disease.’


The autopsy carried out February 19 and  signed by Dr. O.O Oyewole of the Department of Pathology and Forensic Medicine shows that the late singer suffered a terminal ‘hypertensive heart disease’ which resulted to’ intracerebellar hemorrhage.’

This report puts to rest earlier speculations that she died of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) as a result of her long journey from the Grammy’s Award in the US.

The ‘Jawo Jawo’ crooner died on Valentine’s Day shortly after returning from the US.
