Dozens of security operatives have invaded the home of Joy Nunieh, the former acting Managing Director of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), who is scheduled to testify before Senate committee today as part of the ongoing probe of the commission today, Wednesday July 16.
The policemen reportedly arrived at Nunieh’s residence at 3 Owuru Creek View, off Herbert Macaulay Street, Old GRA, Port Harcourt, at about 4am.
Nunieh who was due to leave for the Port Harcourt International Airport where she should be connecting a flight to Abuja spoke to Arise TV’s Good Morning show hosts about the way she’s being treated and how the operatives invaded her privacy.
Nunieh recently accused Niger Delta Minister, Senator Godswil Akpabio of sexual harrasment after failing to bribe her and convince her to take an oath of secrecy in Abuja.
Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio, and Nunieh had last week appeared before a Senate ad hoc panel investigating the alleged mismanagement of N40bn by the Interim Management Committee of the NDDC.
