Nigerian Designers, Orange Culture & Maki-Oh To Showcase At LVMH Young Designers In Paris Today

Nigerian designers, Amaka Osakwe of Maki Oh and Adebayo-Oke Lawal of Orange Culture have made the list of 30 semi-finalists for the LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy) Young Fashion Designer Prize from an applicant pool of 1,221 and they are to showcase their designs to an exclusive panel at the competition today in Paris in a bid to make the top 10 final list.

The Nigerian duo are the only African designers selected for the prize with 300,000 Euros and a Year of expert mentoring from an internal team at LVMH up for grabs. The activities are already well underway and here are some shots of what’s going on right now!
