Blogger, public speaker and activist Japheth Omojuwa, alongside Uche Briggs and two others were arrested yesterday afternoon April 2nd 2014, for leading a protest for victims of the Nigerian Immigration Service employment test that took place on March 10th. They were taken to the NSCDC office, where they were reportedly beaten and their phones seized from them, before they were moved to SSS headquarters.
Updates from the development were being made on Twitter, before the young men were released at about 8pm also yesterday, while their phones were handed back to them and they were asked to report back to the police this morning.
