Bronx-bred rapper, singer and songwriter, Cardi B is in her season of winning as Forbes just announced her as one of their 2018 “Hip-Hop’s Future Moguls’ List.”
Formerly referred to as “Hip-Hop Cash Princes’” the list is famous for recognizing artists under 30 who are making major moves in the Hip-Hop/Rap industry.
Alongside Cardi B, this years’ line-up includes Lizzo, Wondagurl, Lil Pump, Tyler, the Creator, Playboi Carti, Dave East, Post Malone, Vic Mensa and 21 Savage
Cardi blew up in 2017 with her breakout single titled, “Bodak Yellow” which has had the number one spot on the US Billboard Hot 100 Chart. The single lasted consecutively for three weeks making it the longest running chart-topper from a solo female rapper in Hot 100 history.
“Bodak Yellow” got nominated for “Best Rap Performance” and “Best Rap song” at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards.
Cardi B will be joining pop singer Bruno Mars for a performance of their “Finesse” remix at the the ceremony, which is set to air later this month.
