Former Senate Leader, Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba’s wife, Amaka Ndoma-Egba has died in a car crash along Benin-Akure road, Vanguard News reports.
According to the news outlet, she was going for a function in Akure when the accident occurred. Although as at the time of filing this report details of her death was still sketchy.
Also when Vanguard tried to reach the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) chairman on Friday morning via a telephone call, they said he couldn’t not speak but “broke down in tears before the line went off.”
Apart from losing the wife, earlier this year he also lost his mother in-law Ethel Onono, 90-year-old mother Regina Nentui and his former media aide while his house was always vandalized during the #EndSARS Protest in Calabar.
Ndoma-Egba, SAN, who is a candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) was a three-term Senator, representing Cross River Central Senatorial District of Cross River State in the Nigerian Senate from 2003 to 2015.
