Governor Sanwo-Olu Tributes Ibidun Ighodalo’s Sad Passing: “An Inspiration To Many”
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has reacted to the sad passing of popular event planner, Ibidunni Ighodalo while paying a condolence visit to her husband, Pastor Itua Ighodalo.
Recall that Ibidunni died on Sunday of apparent cardiac arrest in her hotel room in Port Harcourt, Rivers. Speaking after his visit to the family, Sanwo-Olu said he was shocked when he received the news of Ibidunni’s death.
He wrote on Instagram: “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow nor crying, neither shall there be anymore pain: for the former things have passed away”. Revelation 21:4
There are no words strong enough to comfort someone on the death of their loved one. But we would continue to commit them unto the hands of God who is the ultimate healer and comforter.
I paid a condolence visit to my dear friend, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo to commiserate with him on the passing of his dear wife, late Mrs. Ibidun Ighodalo.
My prayer is that Mrs. Ibidun Ighodalo rests in peace, and that God continues to abide with Pastor Ituah and their loved ones. Amen.”
I was shocked when I received the news that my friend, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo had lost his wife and partner, Mrs Ibidun Ighodalo.
Mrs Ibidun Ighodalo was an inspiration to many. I pray for strength for Pastor Ituah, their children, loved ones and the many she has touched. pic.twitter.com/BSHVJjiGis
