After rapper, Davolee announced his exit from YBNL and signing to a new record label, tongues began to wag that the young rapper dumped his ex-record label YBNL controlled by veteran indigenous rapper Olamide.
However, in an interview with Soundcity Radio, Davolee made it clear that there was no fracas involved in his exit from YBNL, he stated that he never had a contract with YBNL or Olamide which made it easy to leave when he felt he should.
In the interview, the rapper affirmed that Olamide used his YBNL label as a platform to push his (Davolee) career, which obviously brought him into limelight.
“Olamide did more than he promised me. I’m very much part of YBNL family. I just happened to sign a contract with New Nation Muzik because I had no contract with YBNL” Davolee said.
