ICYMI: NCDC Records 503 New COVID-19 Cases, Death Toll Now 669

COVID-19 In Nigeria NCDC OnoBelloNigeria’s COVID-19 toll have continued to rise as the country remains in the second phase of relaxing coronavirus lockdowns.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) late Tuesday July 7, 2020, announced 503 new cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 29,879.

As usual, Lagos, the country’s virus hotspot, reported the highest number of new cases among the states with 154 while Ondo State followed with 76 cases.

Other states with new cases include Edo (54), FCT (41), Enugu (34), Rivers (30), Benue (24), Osun (20), Kaduna (15), Kwara (13), Abia (9), Borno (8), Plateau (6), Taraba (5), Ogun (3), Kano (3), Kebbi (2), Nasarawa (2), Bayelsa (1), and Gombe (1).

Also Nigeria now has a total of 669 deaths while 12,108 patients have been discharged so far.
