Looking adorable in her son’s brightly coloured playroom, Amber addresses that memorable twitter fight between her ex flame Kanye West and baby daddy Wiz Khalifa where Kanye tweeted: “I know you mad ever time you look at your child that this girl got you for 18 years.”
Rose says people now know, “You better not come for Sebastian. Not my baby. I will protect him.”
Gusing over her son, she says: “He’s my little pumpkin.”
“I hug him, I rub him, I kiss him all day long.” Bash as he is called by his mum and dad, is a precocious bundle of energy who according to Rose, has changed her for the better.
“Having him was like, you know what, I have to be stronger than I ever have been in my whole life, for him,” she says. “He needs to look at his mom as Superwoman.”
Amber who launched the Slut Walk in Los Angeles last year taking to the streets with hundreds of supporters to march against the demeaning treatment of all women, still taking about her son says, “I’m raising him to be a feminist.”
“Women are getting sexually assaulted. I’ve been sexually assaulted hundreds of times, just walking through the club.”
“When my son goes to school and his friend calls a girl a hoe, I want him to be the first person to say, ‘Man, that’s not cool. You don’t talk to women like that,’ ” says Rose. “That’s very important to me.”
Though she and West are still not on good terms, the soon-to-be VH1 talk show host is focusing on her many projects, including her MUVA clothing line and the recent launch of her MUVA Mojis, and letting go of the past.
“It’s all a learning experience,” she says when asked about her tumultuous social media history. “I don’t put my personal business or my feelings out there. I did before, but I don’t know because I learned from that.”
With Slut Walk, “I really want to make a change,” Rose says. “The point is, you can wear whatever you want. [A risqué outfit] is not an invitation.”
