Summer is here and it promises to be bright, fun and playful with the latest trendsfrom Spring/Summer 2011 runways spilling over to this season and translating to real life fashion. Bright colours and prints are still very much hot, however a hotter edge to this trend is going for pieces and accessories in fruity prints - it is a must-have this season as they are not only delicious to eat but even better to wear!
Floral prints are still buzzing however a host of designers have taken more liking to fruits. Designers including Stella McCartney and Prada have championed this trend with fashion editors and celebrities running away with it. Prada has especially given the phrase ‘going bananas’ another meaning with its well received banana prints. You too can indulge in the most popular fruits like the melon, cherry, pineapple and citrus or just pick your favourite fruit!
