Investiture Ceremony, Zainab Saleh – 58th President Of International Women’s Society (IWS)


In celebration of International Women’s Day which was on Sunday the 8th of March, International Women’s Society (IWS) on Tuesday the 10th of March will be holding an Investiture ceremony for Zainab Saleh – the 58th President of  IWS. The event will be taking place at Terra Kulture in Victoria Island, Lagos.

IWS was founded in 1957 by both Nigerian and non-Nigerian, public spirited women who had a common goal to faster cooperation and interaction between women of various nationalities and uplift the situation of women and children.

IWS is a non-political, non-profit, non-religious and non-governmental association, embracing women from all over the world. IWS is affiliated to the Nigerian National Council of Women and the Open Door Association of International Women at the Hague in the Netherlands. The association is managed by an executive committee made up of dedicated and committed professionals.
