The co-founder, and CEO of iROKOtv, Jason Njoku announced on social media Wednesday that he and his wife, Nollywood actress, Mary Remmy Njoku, have tested positive for the novel coronavirus that has infected tens of thousands worldwide since December.
On Instagram and in a tweet on Wednesday afternoon, Njoku, who shared a photo of him undergoing testing, said while his wife feels very well, he, on the other hand, isn’t feeling great.
“My enemies are hard at work in 2020. Mrs. Njoku and I tested positive for Covid-19. I’m not feeling great, but Mary is well. Literally no idea how I caught it. But we shall see this pass too,” he captioned his post.

Earlier in the year, he took to Twitter to narrate the painful ordeal of his 73-year-old mother who tested positive for coronavirus before overcoming the illness.
According to the streaming executive, his 73-year-old mother was tested 4 times before she finally got a positive result and even though, she also had an underlying illness, she was able to survive.
Other Nigerian celebrities who have tested positive for, Covid-19 include Peter Okoye of Psquare and his wife, Azadus, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, and Davido’s fiancée, Chef Chi.
