From “Carrie Bradshaw” In SATC To Real-Life Icon! Sarah Jessica Parker Honoured For Creativity

We loved Carrie Bradshaw’s style choices in hit TV series ‘Sex And The City’ which was later turned into a movie. The role played by actress Sarah Jessica Parker was a staple in our home for years.

Sarah Jessica Parker’s fans like us have followed her through our TV screens for years now. We are happy to announce that she is being honoured for her creative contribution in the fashion industry. The actress will be presented with a CLIO Award in May 2014, the first ever recipient of the new Honorary Image prize.

The annual CLIOs celebrate “ground breaking work and talent that push the boundaries of creativity” in fashion.

The mother of three launched her own fashion and lifestyle label, SJP, in March this year, which featured her own collection of footwear. She was also formerly chief creative officer at fashion brand-Halston Heritage and has launched several best-selling fragrances.

Parker will receive her CLIO award during a ceremony at the Pierre Hotel in New York on 7 May.
