Prestigious champagne brand, Moët & Chandon has congratulated the recently-announced nominees of the African movie awards, Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) 2018.

As the ‘champagne of cinema’, Moët Nigeria is thrilled to celebrate beautiful moments in African Cinema.

Commenting on the announcement which took place on Friday the 4th of August, 2018; Elizabeth Oputa, Moët Hennessy Manager of Champagnes and Wines portfolio, “we are happy to share this special moment with the nominees, Moët & Chandon has been a champagne of choice to celebrate historical moments or private moments of great personal importance and this is one of them for all of the nominees.”

The nominees for the prestigious pan-African awards were unveiled this past weekend at the Wheatbaker Hotel, Ikoyi, Lagos. At the event, a total of 27 categories were revealed ahead of the award ceremony scheduled to hold on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Radisson Blu Hotel & Convention Centre, Kigali, Rwanda.

Some of the celebrated nominees are actors Richard Mofe Damijo, Lydia Forson, Kate Henshaw, OC Ukeje, Dakore Egbuson-AkandeSam Dede, Frank Donga, Reine Swart, Okawa Shaznay, Nana Ama McBrown, Lydia Forson, Sika Osei, Mariam Phiri, Tunde Aladese, Joselyn Dumas, among others.

As sponsors of this year’s awards, the premium champagne brand has re-iterated its commitment to the recognition and celebration of the best of talents, achievements and beautiful moments in Africa and plans to capture the very essence and connection between movies and lifestyle.

In attendance to celebrate the nominees were Kate Henshaw, Rico Swavey, Ifunnada, Udoka Oyeka, Munachi Abii and many others.
