Nigerian born journalist – CNN Africa’s producer and editor Stephanie Busari was among 4 others from CNN honoured with Gracie Awards, presented by the Alliance for Women in media.
She was honoured for her persistent work in covering the plight of the Chibok girls and making sure the world didn’t forget their story and thousands like them who were kidnapped by Boko Haram.
Busari obtained exclusive proof of life video that showed the Chibok girls were still alive, a video that led to negotiations for their release from Boko Haram.
For her award event, she rocked a Cynthia & Angel dress.
