American actor, Lakeith Stanfield has apologized and said that he’s safe and well, after posting a series of worrying Instagram posts.
The fast-rising Hollywood star, known for his roles in films like Get Out, Sorry to Bother You, The Photograph and Knives Out, left fans confused on Tuesday after sharing videos of himself poured alcohol into a pill bottle featuring a label for carvedilol, a beta blocker used to treat high blood pressure.
He captioned the video: “I like to be by myself because i can hurt myself and no one tells me to stop or fakes like they care.”
“Reality is boring and moves too slow and no one is trustworthy,” while a third featured the pill bottle and the caption “bottoms up.” he added alongside another video.
The posts have been deleted and LaKeith assured fans that he was okay. Platform PR, who act as publicists for Stanfield also took to Twitter re-affirming his current state of mind. “Everyone! LaKeith is well. Thank you for the concern. We have spoken to him. The love you all have is appreciated,” their tweet read.
