Sule Lamido, former governor of Jigawa State, and his sons, Aminu and Mustapha are currently at the federal high court in Abuja, seeking bail.
According to reports by TheCable, a federal high court sitting in Kano, remanded them in Kano prison alongside one Aminu Wada Abubakar last Thursday but learnt that they were moved to Kuje prison in Abuja on Monday.
They were docked on a 28-count charge of corruption and money laundering brought against them by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Gabriel Kolawole, the only vacation judge at the Abuja court, is yet to arrive at the time of filing this report.
