Military Frees 59 Hostages From Two Camps In Borno


No fewer than 59 hostages have been freed by the Nigerian Army from Boko Haram’s captivity when troops swooped on the insurgents at two of their camps in the Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State, killing scores of the terrorists and destroying their camps.

Deputy Director, Army Public Relations, Col. Tukur Gusau disclosed this at a media briefing in Maiduguri, the state capital.
