According to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed six new cases of coronavirus have been reported in Nigeria.
Two of the confirmed cases was reported in Kwara, two in Edo, one in Rivers, and one in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. As at 09:30 pm on Sunday, 6th April there are 238 confirmed cases of coronavirus reported in Nigeria. 35 have been discharged with five deaths.
The new cases raise Nigeria’s total tally of confirmed cases to 238 in 14 states and the FCT. Monday’s announcement also noted that two additional people have recovered from coronavirus infection and discharged to go back home, raising the total of discharged patients to 35. Five deaths have been recorded in Lagos, Abuja, and Edo.
