Ndidi Nwuneli, Nimi Akinkugbe, Yetty Williams, Others To Speak At “Future First Ladies” 2018


Leading etiquette and image consultancy, ARTELIER Lifestyle Consultants, has announced the 2018 edition of its annual finishing school and mentorship programme tagged Future First Ladies, which is set to hold from June 30 to July 28, 2018 on Saturdays only.
Now in its fourth edition, the finishing school was created for young women with a purpose, who require a little direction to ignite their potential and propel them to achieve their ambitions in life. In previous editions, speakers and role models have included Africa’s premier Wealth Coach, Omilola Oshikoya; experienced Human Resource consultant, Folake Adeniyi-Adeleye; Founder of foremost parenting platform, LagosMums, Yetty Williams; Style editor, Genevieve Magazine, Ifeoma Odogwu; former Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, Unoaku Anyadike, amongst many others.

Speakers billed to coach and mentor participants at this year’s edition include Ndidi Nwuneli, Founder, LEAP Africa and foremost social entrepreneur, Yetty Williams, parenting specialist and Founder, LagosMums, Nimi Akinkugbe, Personal finance expert and CEO of Best Games Ltd, Folake Adeniyi-Adeleye, a seasoned Human Resource professional and global business leader and Style editor, Genevieve Magazine, Ifeoma Odogwu. Respected as experts in their chosen fields, these leading women will address a wide range of topics that cut across their experience and knowledge in addition to individual engagement sessions with the participants to enable them refine their skills.

Speaking on the event, Founder and CEO of ARTELIER Lifestyle Consultants, Ngozi Princewill Utchay remarked that Future First Ladies, the company’s flagship finishing school programme, was birthed after a series of 21st Century EtiquetteTM events. “Before Future First LadiesTM, we used to host 21st Century Etiquette to polish young people and prepare them to interact with the rest of the society in a more informed manner. Feedback and data from our 21st Century Etiquette events showed us that young people wanted more; the digital age had presented them with a plethora of options on how to live their lives and it was important to have the right mentors and role models to serve as guides in determining their outcome in life.”

Past Alumni of Future First Ladies have gone on to incubate businesses, progress in their careers and approach their roles in the society with more confidence, it’s exciting to see the possibilities that come from each edition and this year will be no different”, enthused Mrs. Princewill Utchay.
The event which has been highly subsidised costs N50,000 to participate in, covering refreshments, lunch, training materials and certificates. Participants can also look forward to practical hands-on sessions on skincare, makeup, health and wellbeing, styling and fitness.

Classes run from 10am to 4pm on Saturdays only.

Nimi Akinkugbe

Nimi Akinkugbe

Nimi Akinkugbe is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bestman Games Ltd, the African distributor of customized editions of Monopoly, Hasbro’s world famous game. The City of Lagos Edition of Monopoly, the first African city edition of Monopoly, was launched in December 2012. Subsequently, the Nigeria Centenary Edition was launched in February 2014.

Prior to this she enjoyed a successful banking career spanning 23 years first at Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc where she rose to the position of General Manager and Head, Private Banking and Director Stanbic IBTC Asset Management Ltd. Subsequently she joined Barclays Bank Plc as Regional Director (West Africa) for the Wealth & Investment Management Division and Chief Country Officer for Nigeria.

Achieving financial security ranks as a major source of anxiety and Nimi seeks to empower people regarding their finances. Under the auspices of the brand “Money Matters with Nimi,” through speaking engagements, television and radio appearances and social media, the Monopoly Board Games and her new book, “A – Z of Personal Finance”, Nimi provides frank, practical insights to create a greater awareness and understanding of personal finance and wealth management issues. Through these platforms, she has been able to empower people to take responsibility for this most important aspect of their lives.

Nimi contributes articles to several leading publications including Genevieve Magazine, a leading Nigerian women’s lifestyle magazine, Business Day, the Punch Newspapers, and the Guardian Newspapers. Her articles are also featured in a host of other publications, websites and blogs including, Bella Naija, Lagos Mums, Eden Lifestyle and The Edition, a Kenyan publication.

Nimi holds a Bachelors Degree from The London School of Economics (LSE) and an MBA from Lagos Business School (IESE). She also formalized her interest in music by obtaining a Piano Teaching Diploma (ARCM) from The Royal College of Music, London.

Nimi is a Director of The Play Pen (Child Development Centre). Other Directorships include, The Daisy Management Centre, House of Tara International, Promo Print Ventures, and Financial Derivatives Company.

Nimi is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Ajumogobia Science Foundation, which seeks to support the teaching and learning of science, and a member of the Board of Trustees of The Play Pen, Child Development Centre and the Artistes Committee of the Musical Society of Nigeria (MUSON). She is also on the Selection Committee of the Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Programme (TEEP).

In her spare time she is a keen gardener (Nimi’s garden), loves boating, writing, playing the piano and travel.



Folake Adeniyi-Adeleye

Folake Adeniyi-Adeleye

Folake holds a biological science degree from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria and a Master of Science degree in International Human Resources Management from the prestigious Cranfield University, UK. Her career started in Management Consulting & HR Advisory at Phillips Consulting, Nigeria’s top 5 strategy & management consulting firm where she developed a flair for the HR profession.

She was recruited after six years by the Oando Group – the largest indigenous integrated oil and gas company with operations across 4 West African countries – as its Manpower Development Manager and was later appointed as the HR Manager in charge of the Downstream Marketing business, Oando’s largest commercial venture. She later joined Celtel (which became Zain and now Airtel) as the Senior HR Business Partner to the Sales, Marketing and Call centre divisions.

Her key responsibilities included the recruitment, development and retention of employees; she also led various Organisation Development (OD) and transformation projects following the rebranding of Celtel to Zain Nigeria and the roll out of a new Performance Management model.

In 2009, she was approached by Microsoft to be its Regional HR Manager for their West and Central Africa business, with key responsibility for driving HR processes and programs to deliver business results whilst providing the necessary support and guidance to country leadership teams, frontline managers & employees managing within the cultural and In her current role as Regional HR Director at a IT global multinational, Folake is responsible for partnering with business executives to review and implement of people strategies to meet business objectives and in line with the company’s growth and expansion in sub-Saharan Africa’s emerging markets.

She is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria – CIPMN and a certified Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), the global body for the HR practice. She enjoys coaching young professionals on improved self-image and building skills for today’s workplace, which is at the heart of Employability, one of her passions. She currently sits on the Executive Council of WIMBIZ (Women in Management, Business and Public Service) and has been a WIMIZ mentor for 5 years. Folake is a certified Executive Coach helping professionals develop more self awareness, personal leadership and clarity in managing transitions. In addition to spending quality time with her husband Niyi and 2 daughters, Ojurereoluwabomi & Anuoluwadamisi,Folake enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures and cuisines.

Ndidi is a Co-Founder of Sahel Consulting and serves as its managing partner. She has 22 years of experience in international development, and through her work with Sahel has shaped agriculture strategy and policy in West Africa for a range of private sector, public sector, and development agency clients in Benin, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Liberia, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, and Togo. Ndidi is also the co-founder of AACE Foods, a social enterprise which processes nutritious food made from the best of West Africa’s cereals, herbs, pulses and spices, and the founder of LEAP Africa which works across Africa inspiring, empowering and equipping the next generation of dynamic, principled and innovative young leaders.

Ndidi started her career as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, working in their Chicago, New York and Johannesburg Offices.

Ndidi was recognized as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and received a National Honour – Member of the Federal Republic from the Nigerian Government. She was listed as one of the 20 Youngest Power African Women by Forbes. Ndidi serves as a director for Nestle Nigeria Plc., Nigerian Breweries Plc., Globethics.net, Godrej Consumer Products Ltd. India, Fairfax Africa Canada and Royal DSM Sustainability Board, Netherlands.

Ndidi is the author of “Social Innovation in Africa: A Practical Guide for Scaling Impact,” published by Routledge in 2016.

Ndidi holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, an undergraduate degree with honours in Multinational and Strategic Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and completed a senior fellowship at the Harvard Kennedy School.

Ifeoma Odogwu is a Lagos based Fashion and Style consultant, CEO of Hyperfashun and fashion editor at Genevieve Magazine. After a brief stint as a Human Resource professional she started off her styling career in 2011 as a style intern, working on fashion and tv productions like Elite model Look and 53 extra, as well as editorials, commercial and music videos. In 2012, she joined Genevieve Magazine as a style correspondent and In 2013, extended her services to other magazines, TV productions, designers and celebrities. During which she styled the presenter of X Factor West Africa.

In 2014, she launched Hyperfashun; a fashion and style consultancy business primarily working with established and emerging fashion designers to style lookbooks/campaigns as well as provide creative insight for new collections from sketch book to final production. She is also a personal stylist to select celebrities and private clients.



Yetty Williams

Yetty Williams, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA strategy and finance from the Yale School of Management, USA.

Yetty has over 15 years work experience spanning financial services, oil & gas, real estate, consulting and digital marketing. She is a certified life coach and a Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner. A social media/online editor award winner (ELOY Awards) who consults with SME’s on their digital media strategy as well as crafting winning campaigns for multi-national clients.

She is the founder of LagosMums.com, the first blog/website in Nigeria dedicated to Mums, parents and caregivers as they go through the parenting journey. She believes that parenting should be a mindful and collaborative process and that it takes an e-village to raise a child today.
It has become a trusted platform for companies and brands that offer products and services focusing on mums and their families. The community has come to trust LagosMums for recommendations on everything from work life balance strategies, to the best bank account for their children or the preferable brand of diapers.

Yetty Williams is married to Afolabi Williams, a very supportive “LagosDad” and they are blessed with two children who have inspired her to start a compilation of #funnythingskidssay.
