On Thursday, the 9th of February 2017, premium wine brand Baron Philippe Rothschild held a private dinner event hosting Food and Beverage Managers, Hotel General Managers and Hotel, Restaurant, Club Owners and other special dignitaries.
The classy event themed “New World Meets Old World” in the presence of Mouton Cadet and Escudo Rojo Flying wine maker Ophélie Loubersac.
The event which took place at the high brow RSVP Restaurant in Victoria Island, Lagos, kicked off with a pre dinner cocktail where guests were treated to a variety of wine cocktails from Green Cadet complimented by exotic starters such as Figs and Goat Cheese Tartine, Sriracha Prawns Skewers and Salmon Bites.
The host for the evening Alex Kothoor (General Manager Agence Netter) welcome guests and introduced representatives of the wine brand from France; Thomas Frotte, Thibaut Jaubert and Ophélie Loubersac who gave short speeches the Mouton Cadet sauvignon blanc and Green Cadet wines.
Guests were then ushered to their seats for a three-course dinner that was complimented with carefully selected dishes paired specially with Reserve Mouton Medoc Vs Rojo Blend. For dinner guests were treated to the Salmon Carpaccio, The Mushroom & Truffle Risotto, The Australia Beef Fillet. To finish dinner, a Platter of Cheese and a Chocolate Tart Dessert was served.
Everyone present was thoroughly entertained all through the evening with melodious music playing in the background delivered by the talented Saxophonist Peter Smooth.
