Michael Kors’ Fall/Winter 2016 collection was perhaps one of the most talked about collections during the New York Fashion Week 2016.
From cable knits to fox trimmed coats, gold brocade trousers with ruffled blouses, skin baring short skirts, metallic dresses with slits and more, the collection showcased spring colors for winter mixed with tweeds and flowers. Of course he introduced new bags and accessories too.
Kors says he drew inspiration for the collection from female icons including Diana Ross, Catherine Denueve as well as Zendaya Coleman and Blake Lively who he termed “women who love fashion and are really individualistic I their style”.
