The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Tuesday confirmed 113 new cases of COVID-19 along with three additional coronavirus-related deaths.
The public health agency said that the new infections bring the nation’s total number of infections to 62,224. The latest reports also show that 345 new patients were successfully treated and discharged across the country.
A breakdown of the new cases on NCDC’s verified website is as follows; Lagos-51, FCT-15, Plateau-11, Kaduna-8, Oyo-8, Rivers-8, Ogun-4, Edo-2, Imo-2, Kwara-2, Delta-1, Kano-1.
There are now 62,224 confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria, 1,135 deaths have also been recorded. 57,916 patients who recovered from the disease have also been discharged.
According to the data, the country has tested 614,480 persons since the first confirmed case relating to the COVID-19 pandemic was announced on February 27, 2020.
