The auditions for Nigeria’s Got Talent has moved from emotional, to hilarious, and to shocking, all within the past four episodes. Episode 5 brings us to the final auditions for one of Nigeria’s biggest talent hunt shows.
The Episode 5 auditions showcased multiple talents from Abuja, Calabar, and Benin City.
At the Abuja auditions, the starting talent line-up was bland and the judges started off disapprovingly with the first act of an unimpressive ‘Big Star Acrobatic Troop’ and then a cross-dressing comedian called Peter.
When the auditions moved to Calabar however, the pace changed as two young men in diapers called 'Adult Babies' got the audience laughing and a singer called Debbie won hearts with a rendition of Asa's 'Jailer'. A young man named Edet showed off skating skills and a 14-year-old Samuel who was a dancer and his singing sister, Felicia also got approval to move to the semi-final round.
In Benin City, there was rap, dance, singing, and more. A performance of Michael Jackson’s ‘Heal the World’ by James, a singer, overwhelmed Kate Henshaw as she struggled with tears and even Dan Foster was impressed.
Nigeria’s Got Talent is now ready to move on to the next round as the selected persons prepare to dazzle the audience and impress the judges even more.
Nigeria’s Got Talent airs on Sundays on AIT (10:30 PM), STV (8:00 PM), NTA (4 PM), TVC (9PM) and Soundcity (6:30PM). Fans in the UK can watch the show on HITV UK Sky 193 (8 PM).
