In the last nine weeks, the beautiful Oluchi Orlandi-host and one of the judges of Africa’s Next Top Model has graced TV screens across Africa every Sunday.
Not only have we been treated to Oluchi’s gorgeous style and outfit choices for each episode, we also saw 12 model hopefulsfrom Nigeria, South Africa, Tunisia, Angola, Ghana, Mozambique and Kenya being trained and mentored not only by Oluchi but also by top-modeling experts in the world such as the other judges on the show- Remi Adetiba and Josie Borain. We also witnessed shocking eliminations, tears, frustration and sympathized with each girl’s personal story and journey in life, however, through it all, we loved how each girl tackled the challenging modeling tasks they were presented with every week.
Last Sunday’s Episode 9, saw three resilient and talented models emerge the top three finalist- Opeyemi from Nigeria, Aamito from Uganda and Michaela from Angola.
We are waiting with great anticipation to see what this Sunday, the 12th of January 2014 brings, the three girls will go head-to-head and battle to be declared the winner.
The winnerwill jet off to New York City for their final challenge and for an interview with DNA models.
The talented and lucky winner also gets a one-year modeling contract New York based modeling agency – DNA, a product endorsement deal and a cash prize of $ 50,000.
