J. Martins Featuring Fally Pupa – Jukpa

The remix of J. Martin’s “Jukpa” did justice to what a song’s remix should be. It was a better version of the original and J. Martins did not have to go too far to look for an artiste that can complement his genre of music, he went to Congo and picked Koffi Olumide’s protégé Fally Ipupa. Imagine what the song would have sound like if he had someone from the western world on it. Awesome ‘collabo’ for the year!

Davido Featuring Akon – Damiduro Remix

The original version was big but the same thing can’t be said about the remix. Davido however manages to pull the remix off because one tends to grow with the song after the first few plays. While Davido rendered his regular verses, Akon came with a different flavor which spiced up the song.

Sound Sultan Featuring Wyclef – People Bad

Sultan’s first collaboration with Wyclef titled “King of My Country” which also featured other Nigerian stars was fantastic however; same thing can’t be said about “People Bad.” It had a beat so fast it’s hard to keep up, moreover the verses and chorus seem not to be correlating. Notwithstanding, it had buzz online and on TV and this makes the song our number 5.
