Last night, Austrian-Nigerian designer, Kenneth Ize who has been making waves in the international scene for quite a while made his debut showcase at the ongoing Paris Fashion Week.
The sustainable designer who first caught the world’s attention at Lagos Fashion Week before going on to become an LVMH prize finalist enlisted the help of supermodel Naomi Campbell and Imaan Hamman in bringing his signature handwoven checks, also known as Asoke to life.
The show was opened by Hammam and closed by Campbell in what Vogue called. truly impressive first outing for the designer. The Fall/Winter collection featured distinctly feminine pieces, workwear inspired looks and androgyny.
