It was a night of glamour and excitement as Nigerian celebrities and other guests gathered for the 7^th annual Nigerian Entertainment Award at the NYC Skirball Performing Arts Centre in New York City.

The event where over 150 Nigerian celebrities were nominated for different categories was packed with fans that came out to show support for their favourite celebrities. The event was truly a night of fun and excitement as the host, actress Funke Akindele Oloyede and Comedian AY churned out rib cracking jokes and kept the event running smoothly.

Wizkid, Skales & Banky W

Wonderful and entertaining performances from Vector who went home with the Best Rap Act of the year, Waje, Eldee Ice prince to mentor a few had guests on their feet singing and dancing along.

The event that was star studded had in attendance the likes of Don Jazzy, D’Prince, Uche Jumbo, Annie Macaulay Idibia, Seyi Law, Julius Agwu, Freeze from Cool FM and a host of others.

The night ended with Rotimi, the American sensational R&B singer went on stage with EME crew- Banky W, Wizkid and Skales performing hits from their latest album.

Major winners for the night were Wizkid and Davido, who went home with two awards each. Uti Nwachukwu won the award for the Best Entertainment Personality while Funke Akindele got the Best Actress Film.
