Nigerian React As TB Joshua Embarks On 4-Day Visit To “Prayer Mountain” Over COVID-19

Following the huge credibility deficit, Prophet T. B. Joshua recently faced due to his failed prediction that the Coronavirus would vanish March 27 from the earth, the cleric has been slammed for spending four days praying against the pandemic at the top of a mountain.

The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) founder could be seen in a video broadcast from Emmanuel TV’s studios on Sunday barefoot and simply clad in a long garment. It also showed where he slept outdoors amidst a large expanse of rocks and trees for the duration of his serious fasting and praying session.

However it has since drawn a lot of criticism from some Nigerians who questioned theatrics, with few expressing why he had to go with cameramen who filmed him while he prayed.

Since its outbreak in the Wuhan province of China in December last year, the novel virus had been confirmed in around 210 countries or territories as of April 27, 2020, with 3,004,887 people infected worldwide, and 207,254 deaths recorded.
