Nigeria’s Coronavirus Toll Now 62,521 As NCDC Records 150 More Cases

Nigeria on Thursday recorded 150 new cases of Coronavirus, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed on their official website and Twitter.

Lagos remains the epicentre of the global pandemic as a breakdown of the new cases shows that the metropolis had 89 infections. Other states include, Rivers-19, Ogun-11, Bayelsa-9, Kaduna-8, Plateau-8, Taraba-3, Osun-2 and Delta-1.

There are now 62,521 confirmed cases of Coronavirus in the country since it was first recorded back in February.

Unfortunately 1,141 persons have died so far from the ravaging disease. However, 58,249 patients have been discharged after recovering from the virus.
